Warranty coverage varies by unit, and the exact terms for your item are confirmed in writing before purchase. This page explains how our coverage works, what it protects, and how to keep it valid.
We sell remanufactured engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials alongside new shop equipment from many manufacturers. A remanufactured long block, a rebuilt transfer case, and a new two-post lift are covered by different warrantors on different terms, and any site that stamps one flat “12-month warranty on everything” banner across a catalog like that is telling you something that cannot be true for every unit. We would rather be exact: the warranty period and terms that apply to your item are confirmed in writing for your specific unit before purchase, and those are the terms that govern. Email us with the unit you are considering and we will send you its current coverage.
Remanufactured is not the same as used. A remanufactured unit has been fully disassembled, cleaned, inspected, machined where needed, rebuilt with new wear components, and tested to meet or exceed OEM tolerances. Our remanufactured engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the period confirmed at the time of sale.
None of this is fine print designed to dodge claims. It is the honest boundary of what a rebuilder can stand behind: the unit itself, built right.
New shop equipment, including two-post and four-post lifts, alignment systems, ADAS calibration tools, tire changers, wheel balancers, AC recovery machines, and air compressors, carries the manufacturer’s warranty. Coverage scope and duration are set by the equipment manufacturer and listed with the product. Where a manufacturer requires product registration to activate coverage, complete it promptly after delivery; if you are unsure whether your equipment needs registering, email us and we will check. If you ever need to make an equipment claim, we will point you to the right channel and help move it along rather than leaving you alone with a call center.
Drivetrain warranties have installation conditions for a simple reason: a perfect rebuild can be destroyed in an afternoon by old coolant, a clogged cooler line, or a missed torque spec. For warranty coverage to apply, remanufactured drivetrain units must be:
Improper installation voids coverage, so if your installer has questions about a requirement, have them email us before the unit goes in.
Claims move fastest when the paperwork exists. Keep:
If a unit arrives visibly damaged, that is a shipping claim, not a warranty claim, and it has a shorter clock: note it on the delivery receipt and report it within 48 hours. See our Shipping Policy for the inspection steps. Either way the cost is never yours.
We stand behind every unit we sell. Honest condition disclosure on every listing, real fitment specs, and warranty terms confirmed in writing before purchase are how we keep this simple: you know what you are buying, what covers it, and who to email if something goes wrong.
