How Our Warranty Works
Because we sell a wide range of remanufactured drivetrain units and new shop equipment, warranty length and coverage differ by product type, manufacturer and condition. There is no single blanket timeframe. Always review the warranty terms listed on the specific product page before purchase.
Remanufactured Drivetrain
Remanufactured engines, transmissions, transfer cases and differentials are rebuilt to meet or exceed OEM tolerances and are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated on each product page.
Shop Equipment
New shop equipment (lifts, alignment systems, ADAS tools, compressors and more) carries the manufacturer’s warranty. Coverage and duration are set by the equipment manufacturer and listed with the product.
Making a Claim
To start a warranty claim, email support@steelbayautomotivesupply.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Proper installation by a qualified technician is required for drivetrain warranty coverage.
